Chapter 2<\/p>\n

Denise came to my row almost immediately. She crouched beside my seat, and I noticed the little gold pin on her uniform marking nineteen years of service. There was something reassuring about her calm expression.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow can I help you?\u201d<\/p>\n
